The product
The doorpakken platform was founded during the covid-pandemic. During that time ABN AMRO was looking for new way to help their business customers get trough this pandemic with tips, tricks, articles and beneficial products.
Due to this uncertain period, ABN AMRO the time to market needed to be as soon as possible. Therefore they created and launched this concept within 6 weeks together with design agency: Jungle Minds.
When the pandemic came to an end, doorpakken’s scope changed towards a more widely accessible platform. Becoming the test and validation platform for all products and services within the ‘Beyond Banking’ portfolio. Including propositions that are beneficial to customers, but not that obvious to a bank to market.
Theme approach
When the platform became more mature and more and more products were hosted on doorpakken, we launched one of the largest updates called: the theme approach. With this approach we arranged all products within 3 themes: Veilig- (safe), Duurzaam-(sustainable) and Slim-ondernemen(smart).
Theme pages create the opportunity to add more context and cross-sell opportunities to other beyond banking and even regular banking products.

After the delivery of Jungle Minds, I was hired as the UX designer to get the platform to the next stage. Besides being responsible for the UX and UI designs, I also helped forming the team finding their way of working.
